Dude, the whole thing with Latham Gaines (I can't remember the characters name) was all about that green stuff and then Mesogog taking over. Experiment gone wrong, that sooo hasn't been done before.

The geeks make up digitally programs weapons that shock the virus-like enemies and to defeat them they must continue coming up with more powerful programs and weapons.....

Yeah, I'm totally making it all up -_- and that's all I got.
Denji Sentai Megaranger (Electromagnetic Squadron Mega Ranger), adapted to PRiS as the folks under Saban misinterpreted the Zords and gear to be used by Rangers fighting in space, mainly with the fact the Mechas seem to be based upon space vehicles and henceforth fighting in space.

Well, if I would get the chance to do a PR series, I would make a completely new suits for both the Rangers and the bad guys. I would also get the writers to write a unique script and get the producers to locate a unique filming area.

I would do a non-based-on-Sentai 50-episode PR series with professional cast crew. I wouldn't be recycling older series. No way!

And yes, now that everybody's mentioned it, I think Sentai is actually running of new ideas and it's recycling its older series. The same is happening to PR. If this goes on for a little more, Sentai is doomed and so are PR.

Since Power Rangers simply adapts the newest Sentai series, you can't really say it recycles things in that sense, unless you are willing to say that it does so firstly by taking things from Sentai. As for the thought that Sentai simply copies ideas from past Sentai, I suppose you can't exactly have constantly spewed new ideas after 30+ series. In order to make it make sense, I like to think of it as being 'traditions', or something of the sort.

As for me, if I were to make a Sentai, it would probably involve something similar to Magiranger, so.... yeah.

Now I understand that in reality they are limited to things. You can only do animals, cars, and such so many times before being forced to re-invent them. But Engine Sentai Go-onger blatantly combines the costumes and zords of both of the above named series. And the stupid suit numbers of SPD. Just not as big.

If you were to create a PR series, how would you try and avoid such blatant merging or repeating of old series. As well as costumes and zords.

Nice examples are PR Zeo, Mystic Force, and Jungle Fury. They all broke from the norm in many ways and featured many new things.
zbasicy i think they are but who knows.
