Default Power Rangers In Space

I just got done watching Power Rangers In Space more specifically Count Down to Destruction 1 and 2 and something caught my attention while I was watching. It seems to me that Count Down to Destruction was orginally meant to be the series finale of the power ranger Franchise the end. But then of course disney got ahold of the rangers franchise and made lost galaxy and the others.

Power Rangers in Space was on a lower budget due to Turbo's low ratings and the producers had Countdown to Destruction feature an "ending" of sorts if the ratings didn't pick up. Had the ratings been low, Countdown to Destruction WOULD have been the end of Power Rangers. Thankfully, the ratings picked up.

As for how future villains are still alive: it hasn't actually been said explicitly, mostly presumed that the villain did not exist at the the time or were in captivity.

Disney didn't get the franchise until Wild Force by the way...

In total Zordon's life was gone for nothing,if we think his waves killed only villains from 5 seasons:P

They don't, but when you thing about it, even if evil was completely wiped from the universe it is bound to come back.

Someone had to make up for the mistakes of his rangers >.< heh heh

Um, but yeah, if he hadn't taken them out they would still be around which would only add to the what, 11 other seasons? Of villains. I wouldn't say it was all for not.

The rangers did start finishing the job on their own after his death though...just sayin' >.<

As was stated earlier, because Power Rangers Turbo had lower ratings, and was losing the core/original fanbase, Power Rangers in Space was put on a lower budget, so CTD would've been the end of the franchise had the ratings not picked back up. Now, Saban Entertainment continued to own the franchise until about halfway through Power Rangers: Wild Force if I recall correctly. Then Saban Entertainment was sold to Disney Corporation, Wild Force finished up on FOX Kids, and then the entire block was cancelled, and Power Rangers was moved to ABC Family, with their block later titled to Jetix, and then moved to Toon Disney after ABC Family's direction changed in terms of viewers.

It's been stated in the show that the evil that wasn't active at the time, wasn't destroyed by Zordon's energy wave, allowing future rangers to exist, hence the reason the return of The Machine Empire and Serpentera still existed in the episode "Power Rangers: Wild Force - Forever Red". Plus, there are other galaxies that some of the evil could've come from, as Zordon's wave only effected ours - "Lost Galaxy - Captain Mutiny".

well that may be, but the opening scene to count down to destruction pt 1 dark spectre tells astronema to assemble all of his forces to launch a full scale assault against the universe.
