Welcome to the Jungle - The theme song was better but not great. I like the start of the opening with the build up music and the zords running though. That said, I see another shitty vehicle for the toylines... - Anyone else get a "You're Watching Power Rangers Jungle Fury" message literally 30 seconds into the episode? How stupid do they think we are? The opening titles were only a few seconds ago. - "I'm numb". Yeah, it helps. - Ah, a guy in orange with a cat logo. Wonder what role he'll be filling... Scary Nostril Guy maybe. - I didn't care much for the aura animals in Geki, but they might just save us from wire-fu now. - Yeah, the guy with the evil grin is the bad one. That and the black lion thing... - "It's called the Forbidden Room". AKA what's left of the Ninja Ops set. - Awesome, Nostril Guy's wall has all the Kensei (or whatever they'll be called) on it. - Ah well, Jungle Fury pre-wire-fu was nice. All six minutes of it. - This DaiShi is very good at English for someone who's been in a box for 10,000 years. Oh, 10,000 years! A friend of Rita or Zordon perhaps? Wishful thinking probably. - At the end of the series, I want the DaiShi to say "Don't put me back in the box". - "My time in this form has ended" What, you're a Time Lord? At least call a doctor first before being so dramatic. - Hey! Isn't that Briarwood forest? Small world. - Hey! Isn't that a redressed Hayleys? Probably not actually, but a Pizza Parlour? They're not the Ninja Turtles you know. - Who didn't see the wrong guy thing coming? Not that the Japanese-ish guy who looks like Miyagi is a sterotypical kung-fu master or anything. - Oh joy. Toby in chef form. This is going to be a long season. - Rinshi. Sweet, they used the same name. An interesting twist to the animal abilities thing. - Camille? Not sure on the name pun, but I like her costume. It's different, but takes elements from Mele's, like the leather, floral pattern and the flappy bit at the front. DaiShi's on the other hand doesn't seem to have been altered much. - Oh joy. Toby in chef form who's going to be in it a lot. This is going to be a very long season if he keeps up with the stupid stuff. - Yeah, Fran, stop talking. - That's a very kung-fu base. More like a playground cobbled together from the remains of old junk. - Sunglasses as morphers. Oh please... - Yay, morphing grid. I bet Zordon was the guy who was known by a guy. Or Tommy. - I'll admit, I like how the sunglasses become the helmet visors, but... sunglasses? What was up with the GekiChanger props? Of course, sunglasses can't be lost or anything. Not like something you wear on your wrists all the time. - Great, another rookie Red Ranger who can't even use sunglasses. - "I'm gathering people's fear and it makes me grow". Thanks for that, Exposition Mantis. - Well that giant 'battle' was rather unimpressive. - "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't squash you". The remaining Lesson 1/2 footage? - Not bad on the stick stuff. They seem to have found some actors with some talent for something. - "When it comes to tossing pizza, the guy's a genius". I knew he was a real tosser. - Wait, they managed to evacuate an entire city before all the dam water got there? What's up with that? - I want Camille and her tongue. - Inspired weapon names. I'm glad they don't have sidearms, or they'd probably be "Jungle Blasters". We already had one of those. And a good one too. - "I've got my flow on" What? The Rangers really should stop talking during battles. And out of battles. - Wow, learning these new techniques is a quick thing. They'll have the Super powers by next week at this rate. - Yay! Bae... or Flit. Glad they're using him, although I could do without the Megazord commentary in that voice though. - "I can't believe my eyes, and I've hundreds of them". That was actually quite funny! I like Flit. - Oh DaiShi is that guy from the beginning. Surprise surprise. That was a pretty good start to the season, despite all the negativity I seem to have given it. Still, there were a few things that I didn't like. First is R.J's mannerisms which just annoy me, especially given that he's meant to be some high up kung fu master type. Second is that those sunglasses are the worst morphers I've ever seen, even more so when the GekiChanger/Claw props are such prominent part of the costumes. Some of dialogue, like during battles and the ever present wire-fu were quite bad. For now, the rest was alright, should be pretty interesting to see how it goes from here. |

I just watched it and i have got to say i am really looking forward to it. Though the only thing i am not feeling is the sunglasses. I like all the people and it seems these rangers can fight. I am also loving the megazord battle. That to me might just be my fav of all the season thus far. The fly guy was annoying. I could have done without him. All in all i'd say great start to this season.

Did anyone else watching ep three just think Karate Kid, it was such a copy, I can't believe they did that, can't they come up with their own ideas or at least copy Gekiranger. Overall not a bad ep, this season is actually watchable, I just hope the story takes off soon and more Kung Fu is shown, I didn't really like todays Kung Fu, just seemed a little too fake, although some bits I did like.

Wax on wax off. I can now see where everyone is seeing Karate kid in this. But all in all it was a great eps i think. I feel for Fran though. Dealing with kids is not so easy. I like the whole how he trained him. Maybe karate kid but it works.

Haha ''Wax on Wax off'' I can see where people are getting the Karate Kid feel in Jungle Fury, Honestly will admit that was the same aspect I got when RJ handed him the dust rag to wipe the floor with. The Martial arts seem pretty impressive Theo just tries way to hard, as for Fran I pity the poor girl on that note not really sure how long my addiction to this season will last but then again at the same time I felt the same way about the previous seasons Mystic Force included. Not impressed with the Morphing Call though, I'm not really sure if it'll grow on me or not depends so far I've only seen three episodes. But seriously '' Jungle Fury Beast Unleash?'' Interesting.. the calling of the zords on the other hand eh well we'll see how that grows on me during the rest of the season.
