| Guest My Mood: | I liked these first to eps too. The solar morphers aren't as bad as I expected them to be, still can't beat the GekiChangers though. And finally a rock themesong I like again. I was getting tired of the crappy themesongs past few seasons. Also was it me or did the martial arts in the eps rule bigtime. Finally a group of rangers that actually seem to be fighting instead of relying on an overkill of special effects. |

| Guest My Mood: | It really didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would. I can honestly say that I did expect much worse. Certain things did annoy me however, one of them being the sunglasses morphers. The Geki ones were perfectly fine...why get rid of them? Pointless, if you ask me. And speaking of pointless: Fran. Why bother with her? I doubt she'll be much more then this season's Toby or something of the sorts. And personally, I would've done away with the annoying fly play-by-play. I wanted to punch Bae in Geki, and Flit or Flint or whatever his name is not much better. However, the rangers themselves seem pretty good, except Theo. I just wasn't feeling his character at all. But...hopefully something will come up in the series that will change this around. We shall see. But all in all, this was a pretty good start to what seems like it won't be that bad of a season. As I've said, though, we shall see. |

| Guest My Mood: | Like Andrew said before, I too was not really expecting all that much when I began to see Jungle Fury. But I have to admit, the two part premiere was a pleasant surprise. First thing off the bat was the theme song. Didn't sound like any kind of rap-pop crap that they used with MF or OO. This season's theme song sounded like something from the 90's and that's pretty cool, IMO. I really have no problem with the rangers thus far. Casey seems like the ranger anyone can like and as a newbie, he was good. Theo seems to be this season's Sky in the sense that he takes things just a bit too seriously and has little patience...eh. Lily, though, I'm liking that spunky kind of attitude she's got going on; got to love those sassy female rangers. Morphers...in the form of sunglasses? Innovative? Sure. Cool? Well, let's just say that they aren't going to be something I'd want to shell out the money to buy from a toy shelf. Fran...hmm, who really knows about her? She could turn out to be this season's Clare and go on to be something good but that's a bit of a stretch as far as I can tell. RJ, though, he's different. A laid back, kind of weird mentor but I'm alright on him. And if I have to hear that stupid fly thing, Flit, do the commentary on another zord battle, I think I'll have to rip his frickin' wings off and chuck him off the nearest skyscraper. And I know that it happened in Gekiranger and all, but there's times when it's alright to have and other times where it's really not that necessary. All in all, though, this was a fun premiere and I honestly enjoyed watching it. The one complaint from me, though, was that this seemed just a tad bit rushed. But hey, how much can you do in a two parter, right? Can't wait to see what surprises lie ahead for this promising season. |

| Guest My Mood: | Finished watching the premiere, and Im a bit surprised how it didnt suck as badly as I thought. Granted, Im still not that excited about the show, Im at least happy that they kept the martial arts theme prominant. Pros -The fighting was actually a lot better than the previous seasons of PR. (maybe its my bias towards anything Kung Fu related, like SRB). All was going good though till the slow-mo's and explosions started, thats when it went downhill. -RJ is a nice change for a mentor -Like everyone else said, the OP is much better than the OO OP. -The rangers are okay. Not as annoying as PROO Cons (there are quite a few. Most of these are due to comparisons with Gekiranger. I know it aint very fair but I cant help it. -Morphers. I know they were probably trying to be innovative, but damn, sunglasses? They dont mix well with the theme of the show at all. Just cuz the visors are a bit smaller than usual, dont mean they make good morphers necessarily. The Gekiranger glove morphers were much more hardcore. -Roll call poses. What I liked about Gekiranger was their moves. After the henshin, they did these movements that were pretty hardcore. The JF poses are good, but a bit simplified. I know its a picky comment but hey, what are ya gonna do. haha -Dai Shi. sorry, but he doesnt look like he can be as cool as Rio. And they copied the exact same outfit. I havent seen that much in PR as far as human villians are concerned. -One thing that annoyed me was the Blue ranger. When he fights, he tries soo hard to sound like Bruce lee. That just bugged the crap out of me. -slow mo and explosions, there baaack! *shudders* |

| Guest My Mood: | EDIT: found them. Well, I overall enjoyed the beginning. PROS: Another Yellow Hottie. The theme was catchy as hell. (the BGM, the lyrics are meh.) I do think that the whole training scene with Casey and Theo was pretty cool, although theo is a tiny little runt. The Rangers seem like an overall close working team. CONS: Seemed a little rushed to me. "Ok, you can morph." "Ok quickly master your weapons, then quickly grow big!" well... a little more details would be amazing. Human Villain? Doesnt seem that badass to me. AND THE MATRIX DUDE DIES! NOT COOL! |
