Ok so I watched this movie a few weeks ago, I can't believe there isn't a thread on here about it yet since TVN released it. Overall I liked the movie, although it did manage to scare a gerbil so much that she bit me, but I didn't like it half as much as the First. The stories where interesting, I love horror movies and Kamen Rider so having them both in the same movie was good. There was just something missing from the movie, I guess I like the stories to stay around the Riders, but this time they didn't, at some times I was sure they had just decided to merge a horror movie with some Rider footage as they had no real relevance to each other. I still think we should have found more out about the three Riders, I found out more about the extras in this movie than anyone else. Overall the action was good, but it was pretty similar to the last film. The story wasn't as good and I didn't like the Riders as much. |

I thought this movie was way too bloody, and too much like a horror movie. They didn't need that, it would have been so much better without all that crap.

I saw this first as a RAW then with the TVN subs. I actually liked the horror aspect of it, though it was a pretty blatant rip-off of famous horror films like the Ring. But, it did feel like 2 separate stories. I found it kind of funny how they sort of tried to tie the two together by saying that Chiharu was telling the Riders to stop Shocker's plan by showing 3AM on the watch. That seemed like a bit of a stretch....actually not a stretch, since it kinda made sense, but just seemed like a lazy way of bringing it all together. Im not sure why they insist on having these side stories that have little to do with the Riders themselves become so dominant in the film. Anyways, I still really enjoyed it. I felt that the action was a step up from The First. V3 was badass, especially at the end against the Chainsaw lady (dont know her name, though Im sure Chainsaw is in it somewhere). The Director's cut, though having little difference from the original, had that last scene with Ichimonji which blew me away, since I like Ichimonji a bit better than Hongo. But, the ending kinda confused me. Did she become evil, since she said, "Ill kill you all" or something like that? Or did she just survive and was pissed off about it? Ah, well, again good film. I showed it to my brother who is kinda getting into Toku. Ive been showing him various Sentai teamup movies and Kamen Rider Faiz eps. He liked the Rider part of the movie. The Chiharu parts seemed to drag on for him, which I dont blame since it happened to me as well. Wow, I wrote way too much. :P |

To compensate for Inui wqriting too much I'll just keep it short and simple. First off I liked this movie a lot. It didn't beat KR The First but it was close. I loved the horror vibe they put into it. It was stretched out a bit too long, but it had major good part. For instance the part with the tissue suddenly becomming a hand had me jumping out of my chair. Too compensate for that the action was awesome. I really loved the fight scene. Can't wait for KR The Third.
