Saturday my husband and I went to a club that he frequents. While there, on of his friends was able to convice one person that we hadn't seen since the 90's. Now I'm very careful about who I tell that I like Power Rangers. I'm 34 years old and some people don't understand. At one point he walked up to me and asked me how much I knew about PR. I told him that I was a geek and there wasn't much I didn't know. He had gone to California at one point and was asked to try out for new kids' show. He then told me that he was orginally offered to role, but turned it down. He's a martial arts coordinator (and I believe him) I do know that he has been doing this for over 25 years. I also know that he taught kick boxing to women at one time. It was funny because he was asking me what my favorite season was and what I thought of the new season. It was fun talking to him. Like I said I really don't think he was lying because he's not that kind of person.

Bet he is wishing he didn't turn it down lol. But that is cool that you actually know someone who might have been a power ranger given he would have taken the role.

It would have been interested to see him if he had gotten the role. But I might not have known him then. He's a really cool guy to know. | |

I think it had something to do with his schedule. I do know that at that time he was training several lady champions in kick boxing. So I don't think he had the time. It's not that he didn't want to do it, it was just a matter of scheduling.

Well, training champions is probably more rewarding that being in a show. I had an opportunity to try out for something last fall, but I chose to do something else that day instead. Schedules stink sometimes, lol.
