I very rarely watch Nascar anymore, but I just saw this on youtube. I'm used to watching faster cars than this, and have seen some nasty wrecks at some rather high speeds, but even so this wreck was just, wow. YouTube - Michael McDowell 2008 Texas Qualifying Wreck

You come near me with that rodder and my wrath staff will be brought out of retirement faster than one of your footsoldiers being destroyed by a five year old. No, I do not watch Nascar as it is too slow, it is too focused on the soap opera crap. Quite frankly I think it's pointing more and more in the direction of keeping old women happy on the weekends. Nope, I go for faster speeds, higher risks, lower pays, and a system that has worked for ages. None of that diluted France Jr. "racing" rules crap. A lap behind? Don't worry about it! We'll give you a lap back! 600 points behind and have no hope of winning a championship? Don't worry about it! We'll just ex the points with ten races to go! Nope, I aint takin' none of that crap. You get a lap down, too bad. You get 200 points behind, too bad; come back and be better next year, if that's possible, or just hit the road and go to Nascar.

that thing looks like a little tin can... good that he got out okay, but I still think that racing sports are a ridiculous waste of time and perfectly good gasoline.

Well, I can't argue the point about the gasoline, except that Indy runs on Ethanol instead of gas. Still I've had my own dilemma with that topic. Personally I think those involved in racing have the best jobs in the world >.< If I could afford one I would have my own go-kart. It's really a lot of fun. Especially for the fact I can beat my brother at it :D
