Anyways, I was reading up on reviews of the PS3 vs Xbox 360 versions of Assassins Creed. To see what the differences are. And my god, people are flippin retarded and a half. Not really in the reviews themselves, but the people making the comments afterwards. All I can say is that too many people just repeat what they see elsewhere online and take what was said almost as gospel. Same with what their friends might say too. Their friend could be totally BS'ing them, and they would repeat it to everyone as gospel. Because he's a friend who's in the know, so why would he lie to me?! It's pathetic.

I love how you will have 10 different people all claiming a game has 10 different problems or differs in 10 different ways from the other console version.

1 person will claim the PS3 Assassins Creed has smoother framerate. The next person claims the 360 does. And in most all cases it's either just a fanboy dissing another console through lies. Or they are just repeating what they read elsewhere. Thus spreading more BS.

Ive played the 360 version of Assassin's Creed and didnt see much wrong with it. I havent played the PS3 version, though I wanted to buy it, so I cant really compare. Unless its some huge difference like extra content or highly noticeable graphics and framerate differences, all that nonsense doesnt bother me. I chose to buy a PS3 cuz Ive been satisfied with my PS1 and PS2. So, whatever multiplatform games are released, Im getting teh PS3 version regardless. So there is really no reason to compare the two unless you own both consoles. Some people on the interwebs should have been swallowed at birth. lol

Mesogog referenced the kids - I was going on the basis of that. But I don't deny that you're right about the adults. After all look at the PR fandom - most of us are adults and yet several seem to do no more with their time than bash certain aspects that happened well over a decade ago.

Back to the adult gamers, however I do agree. Still in the end anyone who feels the need to regurgitate psycho-fanboy and or psycho-fangirl babble just for the sake of doing so should be classified as spending too much time at the console and forced away from it for some amount of time

That or they need to step away from the internet...I know people who sit there and just read crap about video games and the consoles they can't afford and they get really crazy too even though they're only spitting up what paid reviewers are saying.

I think that these crazy ass console fanboys all need to take a reality trip...honestly, the people that slam other consoles without even seeing, let alone playing, said platforms prove only one thing: they don't know jack about it.

Honestly, this is why I'm happy I'm the proud owner of a Wii; I don't have to deal with what other talk about the same games that are on a different platform and I know that I'm getting quality. Not that I hate on any other console: the 360 is graphically impressive and the PS3 has the Blu-Ray going for it.

In short, don't slam something unless you tested it first hand.
