University is a GO

Yes, after putting things on hold for a year because of unforeseen circumstances I am now officially going back to university to do my Masters Level study and I cannot wait, although I wish it wasn’t costing me an arm and a leg.

One thing that has me a little bit nervous is the fact this time I am going away from home for university and basically away from my comfort zone, but in an odd way this nervous feeling is exciting. I am going to my student accommodation early than I need to as I would like to get settled in and do some reading before the course starts as this year is critical and how I do affects whether or not I can then go onto study a PHD.

So I would just like to say thank you to the guys and gals of PRE who encouraged me to follow through with this last year before PRE went on holiday for a few month. Although the girlfriend I was telling you about who was bitching about me being selfish and returning to university is now no longer in the picture, I figured that it would be best for me to call it a day if she could not support my decisions and accept I wanted to do things for a better life.

Yeah, I remember when you told us before that your girlfriend not wanting to support you in returning to university. Are you referring to your 2nd girlfriend who didn't want to support like your first one didn't or referring to the first girlfriend you had?

I’m confused lol. I have had a number of girlfriends while I have been coming here, I am referring to the one I got very serious with and planned to marry, although then things just went tits up and to hell.

Lucky escape if you ask me hehehe.

Congrates Steve. This is so exciting to hear. But i was wondering is this the Uni as the one SRB is in? She said you might be going to that one. As far as that ex of yours all i can say is if she couldn't support the choice then that's her loss. Your awesome. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

No it’s not that university unfortunately, I am going to Durham University. Check it out (Durham Tourism - your guide to the City of Durham), it’s like one of the biggest tourist attractions of the UK.

Thank you, I actually went there a few weeks ago to have a look around, I think I posted a picture or 2 on here. But I am looking forward to it a lot, one thing I did notice is the sheer amount of places I can eat out at. I don’t think I will ever be cooking again.

Trust me you're going to love student accomodations. In my experience the most weird and funny things go on there.
