Well, i got it and ive played it non-stop this week. The Subspace Emissary is a great campaign although it did get annoying really fast. Although its annoying-ness it was really easy to get characters in that game. There are three that you can only get ONCE you beat it, (or decide to do those 300 brawl things...) and those are Wolf, Jiggilypuff, and Toon Link. There are rumors around that you can get the final boss as a character but i highly doubt that. Now onto official business! Wii Codes. Hand them over, I want people to play against.

I agree, we need like a separate topic for Wii Friend Codes or something...just to keep the numbers organized. It's FRICKIN' AWESOME! All of the hype surrounding Brawl, I think it was well deserved. Everything about the game seems improved from Melee and the character roster seems better than ever. You have your old favorites like Mario and Link, the Melee comers like Bowser and Zelda, and the newcomers for this game such as Meta Knight and my personal favorite, Pit. Some unlockables range from the ever popular Sonic the Hedgehog and Snake to the more obscure like R.O.B and Mr. Game And Watch, the latter now in his second smash game. It's a pleasing roster and everyone will find someone they like. Now the single player modes are definitely worth the time. You have the classic mode in which you fight a ladder of opponents before taking on the final boss, Master Hand. It's a mode that is classic to the Smash Bros. series and will probably be a mainstay for potential future Brawl games. Another mode that's been very built up is the Subspace Emissary, a full length story mode that puts you in a sidescrolling, adventure type scenario rather than a fighting genre. It's so much fun and after a while, you'll find yourself adding more characters to your party and will probably be the easiest way to unlock more for play. In some points, it's probably built up more than what it is and it might be tough to follow the story if you're doing so, but all in all, it's a mode that people will enjoy. I could go on and on about it but I think I'll leave it to the rest of you to pick up the game and have a damn good time with it. |
