Washington (dbTechno) - The highly-anticipated Home for the Sony PS3 is apparently getting very close to release, as reports are also coming out that the in-game XMB for the PS3 is complete, which will allow for in-game and cross-game chatting, as well as the ability to pull up music and messages whenever you desire. According to the Official PlayStation Forums, the PSedge dev kit has received an update.

The poster stated that there have been many new updates including new things added specifically for Home. One of the new big updates is that games must now be able to integrate into Home, and also has to support ?Accomplishments? which are Sony?s answer to Xbox Live Achievement Points on the Xbox 360.

It was also noted that the in-game XMB for the PS3 is about ready to go.

It was stated that every single game which is coming out now for the PS3 will support the in-game XMB, and all older releases will be updated via a patch.

PS3 fans can rejoice, it seems that Home is not far away, and the in-game XMB is about ready to release, get set for the next PS3 firmware update!
