Default the NHRA is moving in the right direction
i have confirmed this. the national hot rad association (nhra) that is the top drag racing organization in the united states has shortened down the race distance from 1,320 feet to 1,000 feet. this news comes just a few weeks after nitro funny car driver scott kalitta was killed in a horrific crash. the shortened distance will slow the cars and allow them to have more space to slow down if something goes wrong.
