| I went to a sporting event at a local high school this week. It was one that you had to pay to get in to see, which I think is rediculous, but on with the story. They had different prices for adults, students, and kids. The kids and students were, of course, cheaper. With out asking the lady took my money and gave me change back for the price of a student >.< ![]() Ugh, it's a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing, it was cheaper. Bad thing, people always think I'm some 14 year old! If I could get a way with that 30 years down the road it will be a fine thing, but it's annoying otherwise :/ Anyway, felt like sharing that, lol. |

| haha. gosh, that's lame! well, kinda. i mean, at least you got in cheaper than usual. i hate it when people mistake you for someone else. i remember i was at the mall this one time, and some guy thought i was jessica alba. he pointed to me and was all like, 'hey check it out! it's invisible woman from the fantastic four!' then i was like 'where?!' but then i realized he was referring to me. it was quite odd, actually. honestly, i do not think i look like her at all. she's way prettier than me. x] but anyway...being mistaken for someone or something that you're not can be both pretty lame and pretty cool at the same time. ahaha. |

| Define irony here - back when I was 15 - I was always mistaken for being at least 21 (likely because I was hanging out with the over 20 crowd then). Even went to a concert once, not even carded, yet my hand was stamped "over 21" (I was still 15 ;) ) Meanwhile now at 22 people really seem to have gone the opposite route. I'm almost always carded now (never mind that I don't smoke and hardly ever drink) and told how much younger I look... I just don't get it |

| DaiShi's princess | I'm so glad we have this thread of discussion. I think for the most part, I've always been mistaken for someone 17-19. Literally, I went with a group of friends to hang out at a restaurant/bar + they almost carded me thinking I wasn't 25. Oh the joys of looking young. |

LOL It's not annoying. It's a hella good compliment. I'm sure some people your age wish that would happen to them. Besides, you saved money. So quit your bitchin'. lol

Ditto, 19 is the max age ppl give me, they don't think I have reached 20 yet. Every year the same individual guesses my age, "19". lol The funny thing is some of them have an idea of how long ago I finished high school. It's like they expect me to remain the same age. >.<
