I consider Hogan Knows Best, like any other reality TV show, to be a guilty pleasure. It's like a car wreck: it's destructive but you can't help but watch as it happens. I think a lot of episodes of the show were pretty funny, especially the ones where they take a baby monkey into the house and care for it and another where they bring Hulk to a hair restoration center...poor guy. Lately, though, the personal issues surrounding the family have been ruining the show for me. To me, Nick's nothing but an irresponsible punk behind the wheel of a car, Linda's just leeching off of her ex-husband's fame, and Hulk's leeching off of his own past wrestling endeavors. Brooke, as much as it shocks me to say, is the one I pity. |
