Archangel

I think the title is pretty self explanatory. Here, you basically list off which videogame characters you like above all the rest and if you'd like, give a reason or two as to why you like them. Here is my list.

Link - The silent hero with an arsenal of weapons, I followed his games since my childhood, loving the new ones today just as much, and like a fine wine, he's only gotten better with age. Archery, horseback, swordplay, saving the princess, and slaying an evil warlord time and time again...is there anything this guy can't do? (Well, other than speak in full sentences.)

Leon S. Kennedy - From the Resident Evil games, 2 and 4, myself playing him in the latter...he kicks some serious undead ass! From the trusty pistol to the powerful shotgun to the even more destructive rocket launcher, this dude knows how to get the job done. That and he can get a bit of a tongue on him, making him someone who can get a chuckle out of you.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Ahh the infamous blue mascot of Sega. As a kid, his games were awesomeness and who didn't want to go fast? He was like Mario on meth and at times, I favored him over the famous plumber. He's half speed, half attitude, all hedgehog. Lately, though, his games have been on a meh level but I personally blame the idiot designers.

Ryu Hoshi - Street Fighter...in my honest opinion, one of the best fighting games to hit any platform. And this guy, I'm sure everyone has at least seen, if not played as, before. Kickass in every sense of the word and the infamous hadouken technique lives on. And I still like to play as him whenever I get the chance to pop in the 'ol cartridge.

Blazing Tiger

Ok i have a couple though i don't get to play a lot.

Chun Li-Strong chick kickin it with the dudes. Hey she could hold her own. Especially with some of those kicks.

Link-I am all for the strong silent type. He was so good with that sword too. That little twirl was too cute.

Knuckles-One word bada$$. He was one of the best Sonic characters to come about.

Vincent Valentine-Love all the characters from FF7 but he was just so cool to play. He had those monster forms. Oh yeah sweet.

Yeah i know my explanations suck but yeah i am a simple person.

Shinji Kido

Mario- Never get sick of the dude. He's one of the reasons I stick with Nintendo systems.

Leon- You pretty much nailed it Archangel. Def. my favorite videogame character.

Ryo Hazuki- He's from Shenmue and kicks total ass. I'm a big fan of kicking dudes off of motorcycles,on foot! Don't forget his sweet side.

Roxas: I love this guy...he is just such a great character I wish I could of payed as him more in KH2

Killjoy: A character from SOCOM 3...I use him as CS name.

Mario: How can anyone forgot Mario? He one of the oldest characters ever.

Sephiorth: This guy is just one great badass

Kiba Yuji

Fox McCloud- First animal I ever flew 3D.

Mario- Hes hard not to like considering he's pro at everything and is fun for everyperson.

Kirby because he makes me smile.

Tony Hawk for givng me the greatest skateboard series of all time in videogames.

Dark Huntress

Kyle Katarn. I was soooo mad when I thought they killed him off in a book. If he dies he dies in the series....if they ever make another game anyway. His jokes may be lame, but it's a classic game.

And maybe um, Squall....maybe. I wish that game had voices. And they need to make it into a movie.

I also liked the Dwarf from Baldurs gate I. Can't remember his name though.

Dart Feld: The hero of Legend of Dragoon who is too awesome to explain to those who havent played the game

Serge: The silent protagonist of Chrono Cross, again you would have had to played the game to understand

Tifa Lockhart: Do you really need me to say it?

Cloud Strife: Yet another obvious one

Squall Leonhart: Just plain awesome

Will: Main guy from Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Lets face it anyone who can survive a world thrashing series of disasters and lead an army to victory against a total psychopath with an even bigger army is just plain awesome.

Derek Stiles: Main dude from Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Surgeons with supernatural powers = awesome.

Hmm, lets see here...

Albert Wesker (Resident Evil) - He may be the bad guy but he is a cool character, In my opinion he got cooler after he left Umbrella and started up his own Mysterious Agency...Besides, Resident Evil in my opinion wouldn't be the same without a baddie as badass as Albert Wesker.

Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII) - I liked Clouds character in FF7, he was the one whom had the most mystery surrounding his past much like Sephiroth...Cloud gives the story that much needed kick, in terms of asking how and why he became to be what he was portrayed as in the Game.

Claire Redfield (Resident Evil) - She was the tough take no non-sense kinda character, in her hunt for her brother Chris she showed us many diffrent sides of the RE Universe...She made her appearances in the Games acctualy mean something, and she ranks up there with top characters like Leon S. Kennedy and Albert Wesker in my opinion. However, I think her best performance was in Resident Evil: Code Veronica as the character had to indure alot of pain and heartach over the course of the game.

Carl Johnson C.J (Grand Theft Auto: S.A) - The character that has a million things happen to him and has to sort everything out. He lost his mom, his brother got thrown in jail, and two of his best friends stabbed him in the back...Playing through San Andreas was even better getting to findout how things unfolded, and in my opinion C.J's backstory was told better than previous characters in the other games. However, that is only my opinion.

Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil) - First day on the job as a Police Officer in Racoon City, that might be a little bit more tempting if there weren't zombies crawling all over the city...Leon is the voice of reason throughout his time in Resident Evil, whather it be for Claire and Ada in Resident Evil 2 or Ashley in Resident Evil 4. He turns out to be a character you can depend on, not to mention he knows how to get the job done when it really counts.

Colonel Christopher 'Maverick' Blair (Wing Commander) - Christopher Blair Pilot for the Confederation, Blair is a good pilot and can see through even the worst situations to usualy always come out with the win...Whather it be fighting the Kilrathi or some other unforseen enemy, Blair is the kindof character that keeps his friends close and his enemys even closer.

Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid): Hardened soldier and cool dude all around.

Kairi (Kingdom Hearts/II): Although a bit of a romantic, She's a cool girl and showed that she could lay down the law (especially when she received her Keyblade).

Musashi (Brave Fencer Musashi): Small samurai boy with lots of attitude...and the skill to back it up.

Aya Brea (Parasite Eve): A sexy and heroic policewoman. 'Nuff said.

Quistis Trepe (Final Fantasy VIII): An extremely attractive girl who can exude "sexy" and "authoritative" just by the look on her eyes.

Nero (Devil May Cry 4) He's awesome to play with as a character. Not to mention hot....what? >_> Anywhos...I really liked him from the start. Especially his abilities.

Sora (Kingdom Hearts) The main character...who doesn't love him and his keyblade?

Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken) I always play her in any Tekken game. And she is sweet and has some cute outfits.

Kasumi (Dead or Alive) She's a Ninja! Come on.....Come freakin on. lol I like her moves and determination. Especially the whole thing with her brother.

Dante (Devil May Cry....erm 4). lol I never knew much of him from the other games until I played the fourth one. And I gotta say...OMG he is awesome and hilarious. I could not stop laughing whenever he opened his mouth. He's a good guy with some cute humor. And it makes me want to play the other games becuase of him.

Ōkami Amaterasu (Okami) She's a wolf. And a beautiful one at that. ^-^ I like the game so much. It's nice to play as one too. And pee on trees.................... Okay I haven't peed on one but saw it in one of the previews. It's a beautiful game though. <3

Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil) He's so badass! Come on!

Marcus Fenix (Gears of War) He's such a tough guy. A very big tough guy. But he gets the job done and he's there for his squad.
Dominic (Dom) Santiago (Gears of War) He's just too funny. Especially when him and Marcus are together. He's always sarcastic. Even in the middle of a freakin war he just has something funny to say. Or doing something stupid as to getting stuck behind a freakin bathroom door in the cemetary. o.o Funny but kinda a pain. lol

Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper Series) He's a raccoon. But a cool one. It was interesting to play as a theif with hm. ^-^ He's pretty sneaky and even during a mission he never loses his cool.
