| So i've been sitting here in school and all throughout the day I keep hearing about an earthquake that occured around 4:30 in the morning yesterday down in Illinois (I live in Wisconsin: it was reported that people could feel the rumbling all the way in Milwaukee.). I guess it was a 5.2 on the Richtor scale. Ill. earthquake shakes large part of Midwest - Life - MSNBC.com This is pretty crazy...I mean I didn't even know there was a fault line here in the midwest! I guess it isn't as serious as fault lines on the west coast near California and things like that. |

| Yep, we felt it here too. I have been told in the past that we aren't suppose to be able to get earthquakes, but I know for a fact that there have been many locally in history. By the sound of it they were worse then than they are now though. I mean whenever we have one it seems like only trembles, but the ones I've read about sounded a lot worse. |
