"Deadliest Catch" - TV Show

I just wanted to see if anyone else really enjoyed this show besides me. It airs on the Discovery Channel on Tuesdays at 9pm. It's narrated by Mike Rowe, the host of "Dirty Jobs"...another Discovery Channel show.

I got into this show sometime last year after watching one of those "weekend marathons". There was nothing on TV, so I just left it on this channel, and slowly got interested in it.

Yeah, it's a good show, too bad they just got caught editing the show to make it look like the weather was worse than it was

Where'd you find that out? I mean, I know the weather can get pretty bad there, but how can they make it worse? Weather is something you can't control.

They took the footage from an October storm and edited it into September boat footage to make the weather look worse than it was

Geez, what idiots. There's plenty of stuff to show if the weather ain't all that great...You know a bunch of crap goes on behind the scenes.

Just curious, which boat(s) is your favorite?

I don't watch the show too much...only the occasional marathon on Discovery...but personally I've always enjoyed watching the Time Bandit. :P

I'm more of an Ax Men sorta gal: I have family that lives in Vernonia Oregon so they know almost everyone who works for Pihl logging over there.

Haha...I love those guys too. I actually have three favorites (Time Bandit being one of 'em), but if I had to choose one, it would be the Northwestern. Sig runs a pretty tight boat, and his brother Edgar is freakin hilarious.
