It's stupid, I can easily walk into a store and buy a metal sword or any other kind of weapon, but I can't buy a soft drink without someone wanting my ID. | |

this isn't far from where I live...pretty hilarious if you ask me. It just proves my point that police officers in most cities have nothing better to do than to pick on teenagers because the general stereotypical concensus is that all we do is smoke cigarettes, booze up, get high and have sex whenever we can, when that isn't the case at all in most instances.

| Eh, some stereotypes are overrated. Sure I drank (like a fish at times) when I was underage, but I don't mess around with drugs (never have never will - saw where it got friends of mine... no thanks), cigarettes - again no and as for that last one... well I think that's best left between me and the few who know |

living in a small town where I am it's really bad. These police officers have so little to do that they literally stake out the high school waiting for some kid to drive stupidly. I once waved to a police officer as he drove past my house in a friendly manner as we were piling into another friend's car--who was a junior and still under her driving restrictions of one passenger at any given time--and instead of driving along, because of my friendly gesture, he drove around the block, followed us all the way to school, into the parking lot, waited for us to park, and then issued my friend a $150 ticket. Ironically a year later that police officer's wife was found guilty for stealing 12 grand in student funding from the elementary school parent organizations. Karma's a bitch, eh? |
