i rarely use my 360 anymore. too afraid of the red rings. plus most of my friends are getting ps3's so we have been doing ps3 gaming over 360.

Yes, I do like RPGs. No, I don't play team sports. I prefer RPGs and older games because they embody what video games should be about, before the modern video game industry became sodomized into a second film industry. In fact, the game I want most for 360 is Pac-Man: Championship Edition. I have a more classical taste. I like the purity of gaming.

Despite all that, I don't see how alluding to my social status and guessing my genre tastes (which, I'm guessing you deduced by assuming I was some sort of nerd who was horrible at sports. If this is the case, I have one thing to say: You watch Power Rangers. You have no right to talk. None of us do) proves anything. What, I'm not a muscle driven jock, so I must obviously like the narrative and gameplay legacy of the role playing genre? One of my best friends is a football player who finds sports games boring and is a rabid Nintendo fan, so you've proven nothing with that.

Besides, statistics don't equal quality. You can disagree with me and think I'm wrong, that's all fine and dandy. But if you're going to try and discredit my opinion by stating that 20 million people buy and play Madden, what does that prove? Some of the shittiest movies and books in the world have been top sellers. Quantity does not prove quality.

And, back to the first point, what would be so wrong with me liking RPGs over sports, since you seemed to imply they were so nerdy. Is it wrong for me to like a genre that draws its legacy from one of the godfathers of gaming, Gary Gygax (may he rest in peace) and tries to actually give its games things like narrative and fantastic characters? Granted, a large number of RPGs aren't anything to phone home about, but the gems are gems beyond all luster.

You can like sports games if you want, I don't care. But do not, under any circumstances, try to gauge my personality and social status by my taste. It just makes you seem dumber than you already present yourself to be.

At least I can put my thoughts into coherent English. Next time you want to say something to me, write in a language that doesn't require me to bust out a cuneiform-to-English translator for.
