Cell Phone useage - Page 2

I use my cell phone for almost everything. And with EVDO coming here in the next month I'm sure it will only get worse for me. lol

I check PRE out, check the weather, text message, do a lot of talking, surf the web, ...etc etc.

I use Verizon. They are a bit more expensive, but where I live and go has the best service hands down.

From my experience Verizon has always been the cheapest service, by far actually. And the service, yeah, we spit on the competition :P lol

I think some times cell phone usage is excessive. I am firmly against using it while driving. To many people do it and everyone who says the "Oh but I am real good at it i don't even need to look down to text" are usually the ones you see who have died or are in a dangerous car crash on the news.

I agree.

Still doesn't make Verizon any less cool. :p

Either way Verizon really is a bit high on the cost of their plans compared to much of the competition. But this is the case of you get what you pay for.

I agree Verizon is the best. I have had a cell phone since I was 15 I am 22 now and it's never been anything but Verizon for me.

EVDO isnt in your area? What have they had you use in the mean time? thats really odd to hear.

Ive had EVDO coverage for a while ever since i got my phone in april

When I drive I never anwser the phone or uses txt. I only text if im stuck in traffic, to keep my mind occpied.

The standard 1x stuff.

Verizon is starting to push the data stuff nationally and I have noticed are really making a push with EVDO. It's still spreading across the U.S. but is doing so very rapidly now. Heck, even much of North Dakota got it a few months ago. lol. Right now they seem to be really pushing into the Upper Midwest and Plains. Rochester, MN. home of the Mayo Clinic is JUST starting to get it. And its only an hour south of the Twin Cities. But judging by the fact they are spreading it across South Dakota now and are improving coverage in MN says alot.

Either way my area is supposed to be getting it in the next month give or take. So it's all good.
