PRE/Hemp Merger

PRE's arrival has actually done more damage to Henshin Empire than I realized it would. Registration and activity has dropped significantly since PRE's return. I'm talking to the point that the site is bordering on near death.

The temporary downtime a few weeks back probably didn't help. But that was more to do with what happened a few days earlier that I still have no idea what caused it. But the fact remains, Henshin Empire is near total collapse. People have mostly moved to PRE.

However I'm also aware of everything people have added over there that they don't want deleted. So, what I'm gonna do is give 2 options. But only 1 can be chosen. I can port the threads, posts and members to PRE. Or you can copy your works to PRE and continue on here.

Either way, Henshin Empire is on life support.

I'll leave it up to all of you that visit there what you want done. I can merge the databases....or I can allow you all time to move your stuff over. It's your choice.

I would rather put my resources into working on a site that is doing well on its own, than working on one thats on life support. It's just too time consuming.

Let me know what you would like done.

I'm one of the ones who hasn't been on Hemp since you brought PRE back so honestly it makes no difference to me which you choose, whether it be to kill or merge Hemp

Well.... I just want to know if people want me to merge what they have there with here, or if they want to just move it themselves. (I.E. copy and paste.) Either way...Hemp will merge with PRE. But retain the PRE domain name.

The only thing with the merge is that there would probably be some dupe threads. I'm like Elsa though, haven't really been on Henshin Empire since PRE came back.

Dupe threads would be deleted if merged.

Well it looks like you've already done the one thing I would've suggested - after all it sometimes is a better idea to keep the PR fans on one side and the Sentai fans on the other lol

might as well merge everything...if there's any down time during it that might be a pain, but it's better than having everybody sit there and re-do everything they'd been doing over the course of the past few months over at HEMP.

somehow I had a feeling something like this would happen to that site as soon as I heard that PRE was coming back. *shrug* Que sera, sera I suppose.

Well it was peoples choice if they wanted to support HEMP or not. I wanted both to continue on. But by the registrations here and there, as well as forum activity it was the people that spoke. Not much I can do on that. *Shrugs*

Any downtime would likely be minimal for a merger.
