I haven't been able to get into that many really old Sentai excluding JAKQ. I'm subbing Fiveman right now, and I love it. Back to the Hurricanger thing. Those subs are still HK, they were just re-done and polished up by someone. It's the same with the GaoRanger episodes on Veoh. It's the same as AbaRanger, just better quality hardsubs. Is Hurricanger complete on Veoh? The last time I checked it was missing the last few. |

All 51 episode are there. I don't know about the movie or the team ups with Gaoranger or Abaranger. Anyway, are you saying that someone went back though the HK subs of Hurricanger and fixed the translation cause they are accurate compared to the garbage translations of Abaranger. I didn't know you work for EJ. Good Luck and Good work. I enjoy the stuff you guys do. |

Ah. Inui and I were founders of EJF. AbaRanger was pretty bad, but I found I could understand it pretty well. The Bakuryuu's names (and people's names for that matter) killed me, but other than that it was fine. Yeah, I'm pretty sure someone edited the HK subs of Hurricanger and GaoRanger and re-encoded them. |

Oh. Despite the translation problems I liked Abaranger. I mean it has a rough start and after a couple of episodes, I was bored but since each episode they were always doing something crazy and mind blowing, I kept watching just to see what they did next and soon in the second half of the show, it grew on me. Anyway, sometimes it just takes a break to like a show. Like me and Hurricanger. |

I didn't like AbaRanger at all until like the mid-30's. I do love humor in a Sentai and the random quirkiness that the older shows had, but...to me, AbaRanger seemed overdone. It was too much of a polar show -- ridiculous, impossible humor and wackiness, as well as really deep, serious backstories (Asuka/Mahoro, Mikoto). It was a hard balance, but I ended up really liking the show. The final 10-15 episodes were really great.
