Still wanting that happy ending Takuya?[/b]
That's still the one thing it was lacking for me.

But thats a good lesson though even if it is a tv show: Real life doesn't always have fairy tale endings

That is true. And the ending was, to be honest, a good breath of fresh air, as far as J-drama endings go -- but I still want my happy ending, haha. But honestly...in real life, Ken-zou would've gotten Rei. There's no one that would wait as long as Ken.

And a J-drama I'm currently watching (though it's been a couple days since I've seen any due to studying) is Yukan Club. It stars Akanishi Jin of KAT-TUN, whose acting skills are, sadly, not up to par to his singing. Which is fine, because the show is a light-hearted crime-solving have-fun type of drama, kind of like a mix between @DEEP and Hana Kimi. Good stuff. I'd recommend it if you have nothing else to watch.

I don't know, man. Some people are pretty stupid. Not that Ken was anyway. It just I don't think he took full advantage of his opportunity. If that were me, I would have a real battle plan by episode 2. Another thing is he doesn't really remembers a lot. He figures things out just when its about to be too late. Very good story though. Very well done.

I'm glad we finally agree that there was some good in the ending.

I'm thinking of what I'm going to watch next, I'm almost done with Hana Kimi :\ I wish it didn't end so soon. I'm also going to miss watching it on my TV instead of having to slave infront of a monitor. I gotta invest in one of those burner things.

I can't watch on the TV...my parents disapprove. XD

If you liked Hana Kimi, I would recommend Yamada Taro Monogatari or Stand Up!!...both are slightly light-hearted (Stand Up!! gets serious toward the end, but still has humor and gives you that fuzzy feeling). Stand Up!! is the growing-up story of four teens. It's kinda centered around sex, since it shows the corruption and hypocrisy of the city, adults, and people around them. But the show is hilarious...it has three of my favorite actors, Ninomiya Kazunari, Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi), and Oguri Shun (Sano from Hana Kimi...except he's retardedly funny and inspirational in this role).

Yamada Taro is one of the most heartwarming tales you'll see. Nino (of Stand Up!!) plays a poor high school student whom everyone thinks is rich from his grades and the way he acts. It shows how he works so hard for his oversized family, and how the whole family leans on each other, even the kids. Fuzzy feelings will be created as a result of this drama.

I finished Gokusen. I have mixed feelings about this drama but overall it was good. After some thought, I think I'll watch Yamada Taro Monogatari.

It's good stuff. The files are kinda large (if you're getting them from d-addicts) but it's well worth it. The subs are good quality, too. The opening is addicting...it's sung by Arashi, the boy band the two main characters are from (Nino and Sho)... "Hashiri dase! Hashiri dase~"
