Dragoncon 2008

I just wondering if anyone from here is going to Dragoncon this year. I have never gone before and I might finally be able to go. I was going for the another genre but I would love to be able to hook up with some people from here if any of you were going.

Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US.

I wish you could. I'm from Maryland and I'm going to drive the way. It's a 10 hour drive, but there are other advantages to it.

1. Time away from the kids.

2. No crowded airports

3. Don't have to worry about getting bumped or missing flight.

4. No flights cancelled due to weather.

5. I can leave when I want to.

The number one reason was good enough for me. I can handle crowds at Dragoncon because all the people there have similar interests. But the time by myself is well worth it.

I feel I should clarify, I ment RP video games. I here RP and that is automatically what I think of. But it's not like hot guys and RP go hand in hand

Oh no both Blazing's in the same place lol. But all sound like great reasons to go. I don't have any kids so yeah.
