In one of the most surprising announcements over the past few days, Commodore Gaming has confirmed to us that old Commodore 64 games are on their way to the Wii.
Later on this year, Wii owners will be able to pay 500 Wii points for the privilege of playing games that cost around ?1.99 when they first hit the shelves back in the days where games came on cassettes. So you'll almost be paying double for the privilege.
We know saying that makes us sound like the type of retired person who gives shop assistants lectures about how they remember when a can of coke used to be 20p. But still, are the games really worth paying now?
The first games arriving through the service will be International Karate and Uridum, (see each
here and
here on YouTube respectively). Why not IK Plus?
For the record, we'd be willing to part with 500 Wii points for the following: Creatures, Creatures 2, Mayhem in Monsterland and Exile. Add your own ones below.
