You can't really blame Sentai, given that it's a foreign production that's trying to match up their own actors to stunt people filmed a year ago.
I doubt the Sentai production team has much to do with PR's home made footage anyway, so you can't really blame them for when it happens there either.
I'm just going to say that it's a metaMORPHosis, so anything can happen. Look at butterflies. They go into cocoons as sluggy things and come out with wings, making them much bigger than before.
