I agree. So much of the time parents now seem to think if they keep their kids from watching certain things then what happened in "some school" to "some kids" won't happen to theirs in their school - only by doing that they're really only putting them at even greater risk by not talking to them and not preparing them.
No, I'm sorry, problems DO NOT go away by not dealing with them - especially in advance. It's right up there with responsible procreation which certainly seems to be lost on a lot of people currently |
