Red = 5
Green = 4
Blue = 3
Yellow = 2
Pink = 1

I thought the ordering was weird too but it makes sense. If you look at the visor shapes, each number corresponds to the number of corners on the shape.

Star = 5
Rectangle = 4
Triangle = 3
Double Ovals = There's 2 of them. No shape with 2 corners.
Circle = No shape with just 1 corner.
