 Re: Power Rangers Jungle Fury Discussion Thread *Spoilers*
'Karma' felt like watching an old episode of PR. Finally they incorporate a guest star. Finally they get back to a ranger teaching a kid a lesson. It just felt like a Power Rangers' episode.
As much as that thing with Dai Shi reminded me of 'A Christmas Carol' it was also reminded me of the episode where Trakeena was taught how to fight. She was a pathetic, annoying, whiney character at the beginning of the season. Dai Shi didn't exactly start out that way, but I liked the theme of taking away his "humanity" to make him pure evil. Good direction.
Predictably Dai Shi will probably become good eventually, but right now he's shaping up to be an awesome villain. As long as Chamille doesn't ruin that that is.
As much as I hate to admit it, this season aint half bad so far. And I also have to admit, Casey is quite cute :p |
