It always happens the other way around for me. I'm 23 now and I still get asked for ID when buying stuff. One time even a woman in Argos, the household catalog shop, wasn't going to sell me a sports bags because she thought I wasn't old enough. A sports bag! How am I going to get drunk on a sports bag!?
Usually I don't mind though and just take it as a compliment of my youthful looks... such as they are.
